Commercial Locksmith Services

No matter what size your business you can never go pass a high quality restricted key and/or proximity card system to ensure that access is controlled throughout your site. We offer minimum, medium and maximum security key systems and cards to ensure that your staff are kept working in their respective and qualified areas. We also have a large range of online and offline electronic access products for hard to reach or off site areas that still maintain site security and audit facilities with the added feature of remote card management.

DID YOU KNOW THAT 75% OF ACCESS CARDS CAN BE COPIED FASTER THAN A DOMESTIC FRONT DOOR KEY?

If this is a concern to your business enquire about upgrading your card technology to a more secure platform. We stock a large range of encrypted mifare and desfire products which can integrate with most current systems to combat today’s cloning and replicating technologies.

DID YOU KNOW THAT RESTRICTED KEYS HAVE AN EXPIRY DATE?

Under Australian law there is a time limit on the restriction of keys. This is dependent on design registration and/or patent(s) the keying product has obtained. Once these dates have passed, an aftermarket manufacturer may choose to release the key blanks to the open market and therefore potentially allowing a system to be compromised and unauthorised keys to be produced. If you are uncertain of the status of your protection, come in and see us for a review of your current system and a detailed presentation of other restricted products suitable for your application.

DID YOU KNOW THERE IS AN AUSTRALIAN STANDARD FOR LOCKS, DOORS AND DOOR HARDWARE?

This is an important standard that all commercial sites must adhere to under OH&S, access and egress, BCA and NCC requirements. In the past, this has been predominantly a landlord’s responsibility with exemptions given under local council. Nowadays, this has been changed to make it a national, shared responsibility with the tenant and landlord regardless of the last date of the buildings refurbishment. The standard specifically shows allowable lock dimensions and functions including force ratings and durability of all hardware including door closers. Our technicians are trained to provide you with correct hardware and installation according to these codes to help you and your business stay compliant.

CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP – HOW’S YOUR LOCKS?

If your business has had a change in ownership or you do not know where all your keys are then it might be time to revisit the security of your premises. Let our trained technicians guide you through the design of an easy to manage, custom keying system that will keep your staff in their designated zones and qualification allowed areas. We also supply key management software, digital locksets, padlocks, fire rated locking devices, high tensile chain and other sundry security devices to best suit your needs.

CAN’T GET TO US – NO PROBLEM!

We also offer an onsite service to fix, replace or install your locks and keys. Bookings are essential, however, we do have an emergency service available 24/7 to attend those unforeseen situations.
