Choosing the correct safe is easy when you know how.  Let our expert staff guide you through the purchase of the correct unit to adequately protect your possessions against the threat of theft and/or fire.  The right safe is dependent on what you are keeping inside it – although, as a general rule, you should look to spend approximately 10% of the contents value on the unit itself to ensure you have adequate protection.

Like a car, a safe has mechanical components that need maintenance to ensure trouble free operation.  Failure to do so may result in catastrophic failure which could require a costly opening and repair with unnecessary inconvenience.  Most safes require annual service on the locks, bolt work and hinges which costs about 1/10 of the opening charge of a failed unit.

NEW Vs SECOND HAND

Whilst we stock a large range of refurbished safes, sometimes it is good to know the history and integrity of your unit.  Second hand safes that are purchased from unknown sources may have been compromised or downgraded through poor workmanship or forced entry.  A safe is an investment that should not be taken lightly and careful decisions need to be made as some items are simply not replaceable.
